Green Focus Farms - Shipping Policy via Third-Party Carriers

At Green Focus Farms, we partner with reputable third-party shipping companies to deliver our fresh African vegetables to major provincial cities across Canada, depending on their available shipping routes.

Shipping Destinations:

  • We utilize the shipping networks of our third-party carrier partners and strive to reach major cities in all Canadian provinces.
  • Shipping destinations are subject to the service areas and routes of our current shipping partners and may vary.
  • During the checkout process, you will be presented with the available shipping options based on your location. 
  • We continuously evaluate and may add new shipping partners and destinations as our operations evolve.

Shipping Options and Transit Times:

  • During checkout, you will be able to choose from available shipping options. Please ensure you select a shipping option that offers delivery within 1 to 5 days, depending on the type of vegetables you are ordering, to maintain their freshness. Information regarding the recommended transit time for specific vegetables may be available on the product pages or during checkout.
  • Estimated transit time varies depending on your location and the shipping option chosen. These estimates are provided by the shipping carrier and are not guaranteed by Green Focus Farms.
  • Please note that unforeseen circumstances with the shipping carrier (e.g., weather delays, logistical issues) can impact delivery times.

Shipping Rates:

  • Shipping rates are calculated based on several factors, including the destination, weight and size of your order, and the shipping option selected during checkout.
  • You will be able to view the available shipping options and their associated costs before finalizing your order.

Order Processing Time:

  • Orders are typically processed and prepared for shipment within 1-2 business days after being placed.
  • For orders shipping to Western Canadian cities (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia) and the Prairies, shipments will only occur on Mondays and Tuesdays. To ensure your order for these regions is shipped out on these days, please place your order no later than Sunday. Orders placed after Sunday for these regions will be shipped the following Monday or Tuesday.
  • Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email or text in some cases that you can use to monitor the progress of your shipment on the shipping carrier's website.

Packaging:

  • Your vegetables will be packaged in standard vegetable packaging boxes designed to protect them during transit. Additional protective materials may be used as needed.

Receiving Your Shipment:

  • Upon delivery, please inspect your package immediately for any signs of damage. If the package appears to be significantly damaged, please make a note of it and take photographs.
  • Open your package promptly and inspect the vegetables. If you receive an order that you believe is significantly damaged or of unacceptable quality upon arrival, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your delivery. To address your concern, please provide the following:
    • Your order number.
    • Clear photographs of the damaged packaging and/or unsatisfactory vegetables.
    • A detailed description of the issue.
  • We will review your case and liaise with the shipping carrier as necessary. As per our Return & Refund Policy, all sales are final, but we will strive to find a fair resolution for quality issues arising from shipping.

Shipping Restrictions:

  • Due to the perishable nature of our products, there may be certain remote or geographically challenging locations that our shipping partners are unable to service effectively for perishable goods. If we are unable to ship to your location, you will be notified during the checkout process.
